Fractal Wood Burning Safety
Disclamer: Fractal Wood Burning is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, can cause severe injury or DEATH, and I do not recommend ANYONE try it.
Fractal wood burning is about as much fun as it is dangerous. When I first tried it in 2019, I was instantly hooked. Throughout the years I have changed my burning process several times, refining it, making it safer. The one thing that has never changed; my fear and respect for electricity.
The first -and most important- thing you must understand when getting into fractal wood burning is that this thing will try to kill you if you are not careful. Most people who come in contact with the electricity that flows through a fractal wood burner do not live to tell the tale. Fortunately for you, I have a great video cued up from a Navy Seal who did such thing and did live to tell the fascinating story. I highly recommend you watch this interview from the Shawn Ryan show with guest DJ Shiply who was electrocuted by a fractal wood burner. I think it's important to know what happens when fractal wood burning goes wrong.
